Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Northamptonshire, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team on a temporary / permanent basis.
About the Role:
- Delivering engaging and informative history lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
- Creating stimulating learning environments to inspire a love of history
- Assessing and monitoring student progress to inform teaching and learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the History curriculum
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in History or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for history
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience teaching History at GCSE and A-Level
- Proven track record of raising student attainment
- Ability to differentiate teaching to cater for diverse learning needs
