They are committed to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and a sense of community among our pupils. They are now seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional and behavioural development of students. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and other support workers to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom activities and materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Support the inclusion of all students in school activities and promote positive behaviour.
  • Work with parents and external agencies to support students' social and emotional needs.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable but not essential.
