We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the way in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods. As our Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive work environment and driving innovation within our warehouse operations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate efficient picking and packing of customer orders, manage incoming goods, and ensure that all goods match relevant paperwork. You will also have the chance to work closely with our marketing team in producing samples promptly in line with customer requirements.

To excel in this position, you will need to have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and possess strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, you should be punctual, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the efficient picking and packing of customer orders
  • Manage incoming goods, including unloading, checking, and storing
  • Operate warehouse forklifts and pallet trucks safely
  • Store and rotate stock according to company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment and equipment
  • Implement workplace health and safety rules
  • Assist with warehouse inventory controls
  • Maintain and enhance all warehouse and building areas
  • Oversee overall productivity within the goods-in and goods-out departments
  • Support operational change and continuous improvement
  • Recognise training needs and provide solutions for the team
  • Advise, lead, mentor, coach, and motivate the team
  • Manage the weekly warehouse rota
  • Deliver key warehouse projects from start to finish
  • Plan budgets and ensure spending aligns with the budget

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Punctuality and ability to work under pressure
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-organised, conscientious, and reliable
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Forklift Licence
