About the Role:
As a qualified accountant, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services and supporting the Senior Accounts Manager and team in delivering accurate management and year-end accounts. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant ready to deepen their experience in client management and technical accounting.
What You'll Do:
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with a designated portfolio of clients, serving as their primary contact for queries and advice.
- Accounts Preparation: Prepare accurate, timely management accounts and assist in producing year-end accounts in compliance with UK accounting standards.
- Client Support: Assist clients with day-to-day financial queries and provide valuable insights to support their business objectives.
- Process Efficiency: Contribute to process improvements and help maintain best practices within the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Accounts Manager and other team members to ensure seamless client service and meet department goals.
About You:
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Client Relationship Skills: Experience managing client relationships, with a friendly, professional approach.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with accounting software and Excel; experience with CCH is a bonus.
