Greenwell Gleeson are recruiting for an exciting opportunity working for a successful, high turnover business based in Wolverhampton to recruit a Senior Finance Manager. This is a genuine progressive opportunity to become no.2 to the Finance Director in 12-18 months time. The role offers a great salary and benefits package.
The Senior Finance Manager role is to provide multi-disciplined support to the Finance Department. The role will predominantly focus on the technical aspects of accounting for projects, including contract statements, journal entries and reconciliations.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Corporate Reporting
Long-term accounting
Budgeting / forecasting
Statutory Accounts
Tax Compliance
Operational accounting / Cost analysis
Management accounting
Business partnering with other departments (contracts, programme management, operations, engineering)
Reporting and presenting financial results
Liaison with the Group Finance Team in East Aurora, NY, US
Sustainment of recent implementation of SAP S/4HANA
Development of financial reporting schedules
Development of internal controls
Liaison with Internal/External Auditors
Mentoring a team of 3 Trainee Accountants
Acting as delegate for the Reporting Manager and Finance Director
