An Income Clerk is required for a temporary role in the Accounting & Finance department of a leading housing organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes and a keen eye for detail.

Description

  • Processing and monitoring income transactions
  • Ensuring accurate financial record keeping
  • Assisting with month-end processes
  • Communicating with customers on payment issues
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Complying with data protection and confidentiality policies
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes

Profile

A successful Income Clerk should have:

  • A strong understanding of financial processes
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ideally will have worked with Open Accounts or Agresso Unit 4
