Personnel Selection is looking for a permanent Driver / Furniture Installer for a local company. The core hours are 40 a week approximately with overtime available after core hours completed. This is a very busy role with early starts and sometimes occasional stays away from home, accommodation and meal provided by company on these occasions. Standard hours rate is £13.37ph and overtime is paid at £20.05ph. Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturdays.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting on-site installations for office furniture.
- Ensuring that the outgoing goods loading bay is kept clean and tidy.
- Performing multi drop delivery runs to the delivery schedule.
- Liaise with customers on-site.
- Making sure that all documents, delivery notes and check-lists are filled out correctly.
- Ensuring that the vans are always kept clean.
- Ensuring that the toolboxes, spares etc. are not missing anything.
Skills required
- Full, clean UK driving licence up to 7.5t.
- Previous experience in multi drop delivery runs.
- Previous manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to travel and sometimes stay away on installs all over the UK.
Our client offers 30 days holiday ( which includes the 8 days bank holiday ) plus they shutdown over the christmas period for roughly 9 days.
