This company is a specialist consultancy firm within the Oil, Gas and Engineering sectors. They're the leading authority in design and optimisation of gas compression systems, both on and offshore. The highly skilled team undertake a wide range of projects for a variety of independent and larger energy companies. They're now seeking a motivated individual with previous experience within a Mechanical Engineering position from a high hazardous background, to showcase their existing skillset to play a key role in this exciting time of growth for the company.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a Mechanical Design Engineer position and come from a high hazardous background.
The Role:
- Manage a small but growing mechanical team and will have the authority to have the final technical approval across the team.
- Developing design scopes and ensuring projects are in compliance with the applicable codes, standards and company procedures.

The Person:
- Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years within a Lead position.
- Previous experience working for a consultancy or contractor.
- BSc/MSc or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Comfortable working from home on Monday's & Friday's (office is closed).
