Rotational Shifts: Week 1: 06:00 to 14:00 (Mon to Fri) & Week 2: 14:00 to 00:00 (Mon to Wed) 14:00 to 23:30 (Thursday) NWD Friday.
Annual Salary of £26,000 + £15.00 SHIFT ALLOWANCE

Day to Day Duties
- Adherence to health and safety at all times
- Checks to material allocated to be cut, length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, lot number before cutting
- Checks to cut plan, and any additional drawings to agree with advised sizes on sale order before cutting
- Cuts and verifies parts are within customer required tolerances, using tape, micrometre, and calliper instruments
- Program CNC for operation
- Checks to first off cut piece, and random checks during the sale order, Belfast specific 100% dimension checks on all parts for C/29 (Bombardier)
- Marks each part with hard stamp, grain flow, USD, lot number
- Label each part with any required SP requirements
- Performs daily maintenance checks for CNC.
- Weighs all cut pieces and rems
- Ensures all cut material is on a fit for purpose pallet or skids for safe packaging
- Maintain Quality standards throughout the operational process and assists and develops process improvements to drive AMS forward
- Manual lifting up to 20kgs
- Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day
- All PPE must be worn, no exception
- Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area and metal saw
- Empties the swarf skip when required and any waste bins at the end of the shift
- Ensures all rems have the relevant information on the rem sticker, and on the rem itself
- Performs stock take duties and general warehouse duties when required
Essential Skills
- Basic mathematical skills including add, subtract, divide, common fractions and decimals
- Experience operating machinery and metal processing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Attention to detail
- Able to communicate with individuals at all levels
- Good team working skills
- Time management skills
