Location - Dover

Salary- starting salary up to £28,000 - £31,000 per annum DOE

Hours - Full-time, 37 hours per week

Permanent, Hybrid

Our client is committed to advancing healthcare by providing comprehensive testing services for medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

After 3-months of service/training up to two days per week is work from home, also, travel to sites in Gosport & Bradford will mean driving license and transportation is a requirement.

Responsibilities for the role of HR Advisor:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Ensure fair and consistent recruitment using HR systems, guide managers on recruitment processes, organise interviews, issue paperwork, check right-to-work documentation, and handle onboarding tasks, including inductions and setting up HR systems like PeopleHR and payroll.
  • Employee and Manager Support: Assist with formal meetings (e.g., disciplinaries, PIPs), mentor managers, and provide management training on HR systems and absence management.
  • Documentation and Communication: Be responsible for timely creation and distribution of employee documentation (e.g., pay reviews, job role changes) and respond to employee and external inquiries within 4 hours if possible.
  • Leavers Management: Handle resignations, conduct exit interviews, ensure all equipment is returned, and notify relevant personnel about leavers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure minimal risk by adhering to regulations, including correct usage of HR systems and prompt documentation processing.

Personal Skills and Attributes for the role of HR Advisor:

  • Must be CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent accreditation by official body
  • You will have a strong knowledge of employment law and its use
  • Must drive and have own transportation as the role requires travel between sites and venues
  • You will have exceptional and professional communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Must be autonomous and able to manage own workload and task effectively
  • Would be willing to undertake a DBS check if required for the role
