What does the role entail?

You will be joining a people and technology-driven business, taking inbound calls from our valued customers regarding their life assurance, savings, investments or pension plans.

Whether assisting customers who are planning for their well-deserved retirement, helping them access their investments or benefits, updating personal information or providing our customers or their families support during difficult times such as family bereavements, you'll play a vital role in providing a seamless experience during moments that really matter.

Many colleagues have customer-focused backgrounds in sectors such as retail, hospitality, contact centres or travel, so don't worry if you don't have a financial services background or knowledge - comprehensive training will be given.

  • You have a passion for delivering a seamless customer experience, treating our customers effectively, empathically, with dignity and respect and an ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent listening and communication skills are your thing - both verbal and written. These are core to what we do, communicating complex matters in a simple and supportive way, providing our customers an outstanding service
  • You can solve problems, be flexible in your approach and adapt to changing priorities
  • You're comfortable switching between multiple IT applications and keeping your eye on the details
  • You have good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word & Excel)
  • You have a passion for learning and sharing. Sharing knowledge and experiences to enhance skills and develop best practices is in our DNA
