Payroll Manager- Insurance
We are currently hiring for a Payroll Manager with Insurance experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 3-month contract.
Inside IR35
Hybrid- 2/3 days a week onsite in the London office.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of effective payroll systems and pro actively optimises the end to end payroll process and leverage system functionalities
- Responsibility for payment of all employees
- Manage, coach and develop the payroll team
- Management of relationship with local payroll contacts
- Liaison with Finance in order to deliver payroll output requirements on time
- Day to day support to UK and International branch managers on all payroll related matters
- End to end management of Tax Year End processes including P11d production
- Working with HRBPs and Global Mobility, ensure strong management of shadow payrolls
- Ensure all offices are maintained to attestation/audit procedures in relation to payroll systems
- Policy and process champion for data related activity, with emphasis on pay related data
- All employment tax considerations for the UK, Europe and Middle East, including payroll and non-payroll employment taxes and social security
Experience:
- Expert understanding of UK payroll and PAYE
- Extensive international payroll experience, preferably in a large or complex organisation
- Experience in process optimisation, new country development and automation of payroll processes
- Experience working with UK Benefits
- Advanced Excel and good general MS Office experience
- Experience of SD Worx' HRe system desirable
- Experience working with multiple and overseas locations desirable
- Insurance experience
