We are currently working with a social enterprise organisation in Bolton who are looking for a Cashier Administrator to offer temporary support to the team. The role will be covering sickness. Paying GBP12.02 per hour, working hours 9am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday. Immediate opportunity. Weekly pay.
What will you be doing as a Cashier Administrator?
- Working on the main members reception desk, meeting and greeting clients who use the service.
- Working on the cashier desk
- Dealing with cash withdrawals as well as deposits
- Confirming membership IDs
- Inputting data on inhouse system and on an excel spreadsheet
- Maintaining and updating membership and loan applications
- Dealing with phone calls and taking payments over the phone
- Reconciling payments at the end of each day ensuring things balance with the float

- Excellent communication skills
- Cash handling experience or must be comfortable with handling cash
- Strong people skills
- Assertive - able to deal with difficult situations
- Organised
- Strong attention to detail
- Competent using IT systems inc Word, Excel and Outlook
