Enterprise Risk Specialist

Adecco Specialist Markets are currently recruiting an Enterprise Risk Specialist to undertake an initial 12 month contract starting asap (Predominantly remote/Inside IR35). Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is seeking a self-driven individual to join their Enterprise Risk team. As an Enterprise Risk Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's risk management and control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to enable the business to conduct risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, management, and monitoring.
  • Facilitate workshops with executives and senior leaders to drive risk awareness and control implementation.
  • Collaborate with fellow Risk Business Partners to deliver risk workshops and enhance insights and data provision.
  • Assist in delivering periodic and time-sensitive risk reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Support the development and documentation of key controls for Principal Risks.
  • Help in the identification of representative child risk landscapes for Principal Risks.
  • Support formal reporting to the Executive Team, Audit and Risk committee, and occasionally to the Board.
  • Guide and assist managers across the organisation in ensuring the right quality of risk and control information is available.
  • Contribute to building a strong risk assurance culture and stakeholder relationships within the organisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of the energy sector, including its structure, regulatory environment, and industry-related issues would be highly desirable
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of risk management, including tools, processes, and systems.
  • Strong business change experience, including effective communications, business engagement, and stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow would also be desirable.
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
