Alexander Daniels is currently recruiting for a Banking Assistant to join an established business based in Warwickshire on a full time, permanent basis. This role sits within the Cash and Banking team and would suit someone who has a passion for transactional finance, with excellent problem-solving skills and who is eager to grow within this field.
Some key duties will include:
- Regular reconciliation of cashbook and statement items
- Investigating transactions to prevent fraud
- Assisting internal and external auditors
- Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded
- Record all actions taken for unconcealed items
- Escalating discrepancies to senior management
- Reconcile the receivable records with sales invoices
- Assist with query resolution
- Supporting the Senior Assistant with any other duties
Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced within a similar transactional finance role
- Confident using Excel (including Pivots and VLOOKUPs)
- Highly organised and have great attention to detail
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills when working with stakeholders across the business
