Trinity House Group are working with a leading manufacturer & distributor with headquarters in the West Midlands, servicing major national businesses.
The business has grown significantly within the last few years, and after significant PE backing have ambitious plans for the future.
The Role
This is a newly created finance business partner role, reporting into the Head of Finance, supporting the business in making key decisions across the group portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business partnering support to the procurement and operational teams, including on costings, stock management and operational variances
- Work alongside operations and supply chain to identify efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
- Ownership of the financial master data, improving the quality of data and business processes to maintain data within our systems
- Support month end processes including ownership of the stock valuation process, stock variances and cost of sale reconciliations
- Identify and implement new business processes across finance
- Work alongside the procurement team to manage working capital
The successful candidate will be:
- A driven and motivated individual
- An effective communicator who is happy to voice an opinion
- Ability to influence at a senior level
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience of working in an FMCG or manufacturing company is preferable, but not critical
- Strong modelling and advanced excel skills
