A fantastic General Manager opportunity now exists in Romford for this exciting new flagship leisure and hospitality concept which is part of a well-respected and highly successful private group of companies.

My client wants to recruit a General Manager who is people focused and a commercial leader who enjoys making decisions and has the autonomy to drive the business forward. Offering a range of events from birthday parties through to Stag and Hen Dos and Corporate events, this flagship venue offers a range of engaging and fun products which the whole family will enjoy.

As the General Manager, you will be tasked with the day-to-day management of the venue and the delivery of superb customer experience. A key focus will be to drive attendance through different sales and marketing techniques. Using your experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, you will be expected to develop and engage with your staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and maximise sales, whilst hitting your EBITDA target.

Candidate Profile required:

  • Previous experience in a general management role in Hospitality
  • Managing a Food & Beverage operation, including a licensed bar, is essential
  • Full budgetary control of £1M+
  • An ability to proactively build relationships with local organisations
  • An excellent track record of hitting and exceeding targets
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and experience implanting them
  • Sound operational management
