Hours: 36 Hours, Full Time

Grade: 7, Spine point 18 to 20

Salary: £36,884 to £39,016 per annum inclusive of London weighting

Location: Prince Regent Lane - East London

We are recruiting for an Examinations Officer, someone who will provide support in the day-to-day operational management of the Examinations department.

Within the role, you will also be responsible for centre liaison with appropriate awarding bodies and academic staff regarding registrations, access arrangements, results, and certificates. You will coordinate Invigilators, examination timetables, storage, and the distribution of exam papers as well as the collection and submission of exam papers. You will be responsible for the internal collection and external processing of all awarding body results and processes.

We are looking for someone who is qualified to at least Level 3 or with the equivalent level of experience and who has experience of working in an examinations environment. You will have experience of working with and complying with centrally established procedures and externally imposed regulations and be able to demonstrate, through experience, education and training, the ability to understand and carry out administrative duties..

You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, and have excellent skills in numeracy and IT, including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email. You will be able to work effectively under pressure, to strict deadlines and without direct supervision.

This is a pivotal role contributing to the success of NewVIc learners.
