Are you a results-driven sales leader ready to take on your next challenge? We're looking for an experienced and strategic sales lead to inspire and grow a high-performing team. If you are in a customer-facing key Sales Account Management/Business Development role and overseeing a team, this could be the next step in your career. This role has a base of £55-£60K with realistic bonus potential of £25-£30K.

This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on developing people and managing existing key accounts, generating new business and driving sales growth while shaping the direction of a sales function. You'll oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing while setting the pace and vision for both the department and wider business. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Team Leadership & Performance
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass targets
  • Run regular 1-1s, performance reviews and provide support and coaching
  • Identify training needs and work with internal teams to build skills across the sales team
  • Manage succession planning for the sales department
  • Act as the escalation point for customer or team-related issues
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-first sales culture

Sales Strategy & Business Growth:

  • Define and deliver the sales strategy across short, medium, and long-term timelines
  • Align team goals with company objectives and pursue growth targets
  • Identify new sector opportunities
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to shape a market-leading offering

Client Relationship Development:

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships
  • Lead by example in opening and developing new key accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing to create sector-specific campaigns
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and consultations

Reports and Insights:

  • Prepare regular performance reports and accurate sales forecasts
  • Analyse sales data to highlight growth areas and performance gaps
  • Manage the department budget and drive cost-effective sales operations
