Our client is a Brentwood based event management company looking for a management accountant to assist in preparing quarterly and management accounts across 9 companies as well as group consolidations.
This is an office based role, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Main Duties
- Preparation of Monthly Event Profit and Loss accounts including reconciliation of revenue e.g. ticket sales nominal reconciled to external reports. Plus, comparison of actual income / costs to budget.
- Preparation of Quarterly Management accounts and supporting schedules for review by Finance Director.
- Preparation of year end accounts ready for audit.
- Preparation of Group Consolidated accounts quarterly and for year end.
- Preparation and filing of Dormant accounts.
- Potential to assist in company / group forecasts.
Requirements
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Accounts preparation experience either in industry or practice
- Educated to GCSE level with GCSE Maths at Grade C or above
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products
- Well organized, good team player, problem solving approach
- Previous experience of Access Financials or a similar package is desirable
