Programme Governance Lead - 39605
**Maternity Cover Contract: 40 weeks
Rate: £46.09/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)
Division: Special Vehicle Operations
Location: based between Gaydon, Fen End, Whitley
Position Description:
This role is a great opportunity to support the delivery of Programme Management Process activity within the SV and Core businesses. It will involve stakeholder management, managing processes and operating collaboratively to complete activities in a timely manner, in accordance with PCDS and Agile frameworks.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Foster collaborative working practices to ensure process adherence and achievement of planned outcomes.
- Conduct programme governance, including status reporting through metrics and clear communication.
- Undertake any other work as directed by your line manager to support the changing requirements of the business.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience of working with the Programme Direction Letters (PDL) process.
- An effective team player who actively leads, develops and coaches cross-functional team members.
- Experience of developing and communicating business performance metrics to ensure process adherence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage stakeholder alignment.
- Tenacity to set up and chair cross-functional meetings and lead the closure of programme and process issues.
- Maintain a positive and constructive environment ensuring all stakeholder inputs are considered to support credible decision making.
- Experience of PCDS and Programme Central to support Process Improvements and new strategy deployment.
- Assisting Programme and Planning teams and process towards audit compliance.
- High proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
- Agile Methodology trained
- Programme Central User
- Working within Programme, Process or Planning within automotive sector
Education
- Degree qualified or relevant experience.
