Welcome & Service Assistant

Summary As the public face of our properties, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

The Hours: 16 hours a week over seven days a week

The Salary: £11.64 per hour

Duration: Permanent role

Interview dates: Telephone interview - Wednesday 25th September. Face to face interview week commencing 30th September.

What it's like to work here

Here at Hanbury Hall you will be part of our amazing Visitor Reception team and you will work alongside our three Welcome & Service Assistants. As part of your role you will be a welcoming face to our visitors and help them start their experience and will work closely with our fantastic team of Visitor Reception staff and volunteers. We will support you every step of your journey by our Welcome Manager, who will be your line manager. They will guide you through your induction and make sure you have access to all training and development needs.

What you'll be doing

Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You'll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can - no two days are the same.

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.

The working hours are 16 hours over 2 full days a week, with no set days, weekend working will be required. We will have a team of three welcome and service assistance all working 2 days per week and one welcome and service assistant working 3 days per week, all working closely with our Welcome Manager. The rota is planned a few months in advance and if things crop up we can be flexible.
