Assistant Accountant | Multisite Healthcare business | North London | £30-35,000
This dynamic multisite Healthcare business is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join its busy finance department in North London. Reporting to the Finance Manager, key tasks include:
- Bank reconciliation
- Posting month end journals including accruals and prepayments
- Looking after a section of the P&L, ensure consistent numbers are reported in the proper manner.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and analyse key P&L
- Reconciliations of relevant Balance sheet accounts, Bank reconciliations, Capex analysis. .
- Inter-company reconciliation with matrix showing all group companies and related party
- Spend analysis for department heads
- Assist with month-end packs for each home and division.
What you'll need to succeed
- A good understanding of all round accounts and month end tasks within a busy finance department
- Good understanding of accounting and VAT processes, procedures and regulations
- Advanced Excel with ability to work within big and complex data from multiple platforms
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Ability to identify problems and suggest solutions
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent multitasker with ability to work well under pressure
