Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join our team, providing essential mental health support and care within an acute hospital setting. This role involves delivering direct patient care, participating in treatment plans, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality mental health nursing care in line with NHS standards.
- Conduct assessments, monitor patient progress, and administer medications.
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other team members to deliver holistic patient care.
- Support patient recovery and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Requirements:
- NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an acute mental health setting (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
