Account Handler - Corporate & Commercial

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to support our Haven Knox Johnston team to deliver an excellent and comprehensive service in the administration of supporting clients purchasing cover from us, renewal and mid-term changes so that customers' needs are best satisfied through suitable cover and pricing. Your clients will be seeking support with their boat insurance.

Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in our Maidstone and ideally be onsite for 1 day per week on average.

Overview:

  • Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.
  • Handle all queries in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
  • Produce accurate and professional documentation.
  • Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
  • Refer all queries that fall outside own experience, knowledge, and authority to senior staff.
  • Issuing renewal documentation.

Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 12 months telephony - customer service and administrative experience is required for this role.

Skills:

  • Customer focused approach, with prior experience gained within a telephony-based service role.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Good literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • A levels (desirable).
