In this role, the Junior CAD Technician will be responsible for producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings of rail turnouts and crossings, ensuring they meet all technical specifications. Additionally, the technician will assist in developing bills of materials, provide technical support to various departments, and participate in design interface meetings with internal teams and clients.
The ideal Junior CAD Technician has strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly MicroStation, and experience with rail track or steel-based product drawings. They are detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
The Role:
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings of rail turnouts and crossings.
- Deliver technical information promptly to the supply chain.
- Attend design interface meetings with internal teams and clients.
The Person:
- Proficiency in CAD drawing, especially using MicroStation
- Experience in drawing rail tracks, turnouts, or other steel-based products
