Our client based West of the city is looking for a Commis Chef
Monday to Friday
7am - 3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure that all food is stored and prepared in line with food safety guidelines.
- Help with the preparation of ingredients
- Support the team in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment and be willing to take on various kitchen duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary school training or relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
