Maths English and Functional Skills Tutor
We are looking for Functional Skills English & Maths tutor to work 1:1 with Secondary students to help further their education as they progress wit their education, based in EAST LONDON .
- Job Type - Part Time (Temp)
- Salary - £25 - £30 per hour
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions in Functional Skills English and Maths for secondary school students.
- Assess student's strengths and weaknesses and develop customised lesson plans.
- Provide guidance and support in homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm.
- Monitor and track student's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Stay current with the secondary school curriculum and teaching methods to ensure effective instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the Functional Skills English and Maths curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
