Our company, located in Yeovil, is looking for a skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance/Handy Person to join the team.
As a Grounds Maintenance/Handy Person, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
- General care for lawns, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Maintenance of flower beds by weeding, planting, and watering.
- Removal of rubbish and debris from property grounds, keeping it clean and hazard-free
- Maintenance tasks such as painting, fixing fences, general property repairs tasks
- apply herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with safety guidelines
- Seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting walkways, leaf collection or irrigation system maintenance

You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including commercial properties, residential communities, and parking lots. No two days will ever be the same in this exciting role.
The ideal Candidate will have:-
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role
- Physical stamina and strength; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to work outdoors in varying weather
- A valid driver's licence 25+ to drive company vehicles
