My client is a leading organisation, they are currently seeking Grants Officers to join their team in Belfast and Enniskillen.

This is a full-time, temporary until the 31st of March 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

Working Hours: 37 hours per week.

Hourly rate: £13.73

Job Role:

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure a high level of service is delivered, providing timely payments, resolving queries, providing advice and maintaining data and systems.

Essential Criteria:

  • 1 years' experience of working in an office-based role.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • IT proficient with the use of working with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain administrative support for the project and ensure the smooth communication with project users, staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Accurately and promptly process data files and invoices to support key payment cycles and deadlines.
  • Review and assess applications or documents to ensure completeness and accuracy according to specific criteria and standards.
  • Analyse, interrogate and monitor data and administrative systems.
  • Input verified information into a database or system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality are maintained.
  • Liaise with other departments or external agencies to resolve discrepancies or gather additional information as required.
  • Maintain an Issue Log to detail issues and concerns, actions taken and communication with customers, held centrally and individually.
  • Provide support with data management, quality control and verification of payments.
  • Respond to general written, telephone and email enquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality with all work undertaken.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to comply with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties which the Line Manager(s) may feel necessary to ensure the success of the organisation and the achievement of its aim and objectives.
  • To demonstrate commitment by regular attendance and the efficient completion of tasks allocated.
  • Take part in and assist in the organisation of special events, outings, visits and any other activities as required.
  • Carry out any other duties as required.
