Administration Assistant

We have a great opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join a company that is committed to promoting reuse and waste minimisation and uplifting the community by selling used furniture and household items at affordable prices. You will be working two days per week (Tue & Thu/Fri) between 10:00 – 14:00 on an ongoing temporary contract in the shop's office with the companies' partners by your side. The temporary contract may be changed to a permanent contract after some time for the right candidate. The company is happy to provide ongoing training to the right individual, supporting their growth and helping them advance into a management position if they are interested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing products electronically and manually
  • Logging deliveries and jobs on a spreadsheet
  • Answering inquiries over the phone and in person
  • Uploading product pictures to social media

Requirements and Skills:

  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel, Google Drive)
  • Great people skills and confidence on the phones
  • Good communication
  • Outgoing and friendly
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
