Description
- Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, and power distribution.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering and facilities teams to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Profile
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled technician or in a similar role within a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Experience with PLCs, HVAC systems, and building management systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Relevant technical qualifications, such as an NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
