Electrical Contracts Supervisor

Your new role
You will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for the daily coordination and management of a large education project in Oxford. This full-time, site-based role requires you to be on-site five days a week, flying out Monday morning and returning home early Friday afternoon. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2025, after which you are expected to transition to a project based in Northern Ireland.

Key Duties:

  • Manage daily/weekly contract tasks and supervise key activities.
  • Oversee programming and resource allocation for cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor contract progress to ensure it stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Assist in developing valuations for effective cash flow and accurate WIP.
  • Liaise with suppliers and teams for timely delivery and installation.
  • Represent the company at contract progress meetings.
  • Prepare progress and cost review information for internal meetings.
  • Promote high safety and quality standards on site.
  • Assist in preparing and handing over operation/maintenance manuals.
  • Mentor and supervise the contracts team for development.
  • Challenge and improve current systems.
  • Assess team performance and address issues or training needs.
  • Implement HR policies and conduct performance reviews.
  • Encourage communication and maintain positive working relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ/C&G Electrical Qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of site supervision experience.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring other operatives and apprentices.

Desirable:

  • Valid CSR Card.
  • IPAD 3a/3b certification.
  • PASMA Combined certification.
