Weekend Sports Coach – £25 per hour depending on your experience and responsibilities – Brighton, BN2 5PB

The Role

Do you have a way with young children and a love for sports? Can you create a fun and engaging environment where little ones can learn and thrive? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We're looking for a Weekend Sports Tots Coach to lead some of our Saturday and Sunday morning classes. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with young children and can use playful activities and structured sessions to introduce them to the fundamentals of sports.

Our locations are, Stanley Deason Brighton, Southwick Leisure Centre, The Triangle Burgess Hill, The Dolphin Haywards Heath.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging tennis sessions tailored to toddlers and young children, using our provided lesson plans.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes physical activity and skill development.
  • Use storytelling, games, and imaginative play to make learning tennis fun and engaging.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing feedback and guidance on how they can be involved.
  • Work alongside at least one assistant to ensure the smooth running of classes and proper supervision of children.

The Person

  • Has experience working with young children, ideally in a sports or play setting.
  • A fun and energetic character who can manage a group and engage them in age-appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both parents and colleagues.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car for carrying equipment (essential).
