Financial Accountant - About The Role

As a Financial Accountant you will be involved with the following responsibilities:

  • Monthly nominal ledger journals including accruals, lease accounting
  • Preparation of monthly financial accounts and reporting pack for review
  • Review nominal ledger and investigate variances
  • Revenue recognition analysis
  • Payroll review and approval, pre-paid commission calculations and P11Ds calculations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Annual preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Assist with Corporate Tax comp work
  • Being a point of contact for any finance related internal queries
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The successful Financial Accountant will have/be:

  • Part-qualified and wanting to join a market leading organisation where you can qualify and progress
  • A proven track record in a similar role where your financial accounting skills played a key part in your role
  • Excellent IT skills are essential as well as practical knowledge of accounting standards
