Directorate/Department Overview

Nest is on a path to use its data to drive decision making, and we're just at the beginning of the journey. The new Data & Analytics directorate is leading how we do it, working across the organisation because data is a team sport – if we're going to be successful, we need to make sure that our data delivers what the organisation needs. We work closely with TCS to deliver what the organisation needs right now, and we're also part of the team that is working with a third-party administrator on designing the future.

The directorate includes:

-

Business Intelligence

– with a plan to get our data and analysis out to the organisation through a new business intelligence hub on Penny, with data from TCS and across the organisation. The BI team start with the data at source, and deliver lovely data visualisation to make data intuitive to understand.

-

Data management

– building a plan for how we manage our data as an enterprise, not in silos

-

Insight management

– working with TCS to make sure the right data & insight flows between the organisations

-

Data strategy

– working on Nest's data literacy, data governance, and a strategy for how we can all collaborate to make our data a really useful shared asset for Nest

If you love data, and you'd like to help us on this journey, you're our people. Come and join us.
