Executive Assistant to CEO - Manchester

A truly rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a tenured Executive Assistant to join a well-established charity organisation, to support their impressive CEO and Trustees. You will be an experienced C'Suite EA who is passionate and really cares about giving back and making a difference. The team is a really sociable, diverse, and down to earth group who are looking for someone to slot into their lovely culture.

This is a newly created role, giving you the opportunity to make it your own whilst still receiving the training to ensure you are supported. This is a 12-month FTC with the view to go permanent.

Hours are flexible, core hours being 9am-5pm, or 8am-4pm, or 10am-6pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Executive Assistant, you will be partnering with the CEO & Trustees to effectively manage their workloads and provide organisational and administrative support, contributing to the success of the business. This will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Highly complex and comprehensive diary and inbox / communications management
  • Successfully coordinating international and domestic travel including managing itineraries and accommodation, as well and managing all visa and documentation needs
  • Preparing meeting material and taking minutes, following up on action items
  • Managing expenses
  • Manage relationships and communications with key and potential clients
  • Ad hoc EA duties as required

WHO YOU ARE

  • A highly experienced Executive Assistant (ideally with 15+ years of experience) having supported at C'Suite level and with experience organising complex diaries across international time zones
  • Incredibly organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. Naturally efficient, confident, well-spoken and with an incredibly high attention to detail
  • Passion and down to earth, which will see you seamlessly slot into the team
  • Hands-on attitude and a natural thirst for new opportunities to learn
  • A people person who can effectively communicate with people from all levels of the busines
  • Ideally – experience within a charity organisation or NGO
  • Highly desirable (but not essential) – ability to speak Arabic
