The Company:
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a Spanish based company specialising in Renewable Energy asset management and advisory services. Established for nearly 20 years and headquartered in Seville Spain, my client manages a large portfolio of solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects around Europe They are looking for a UK based Town Planner to work on their exciting projects around England! This role is fully remote and offers a competitive salary.
The Role:
Due to continued success and projects won, my client is looking for a Town Planner to work on UK projects. The successful candidate will be completing site visits around England, meeting with UK based colleagues in their London office, and visiting the Head office in Seville Spain! The UK based team is expanding, and all members work remotely. As a Town Planner, you will be preparing and submitting planning applications for renewables projects, including solar panels and renewable battery sites. You will be working alongside another member of the Town Planning team who is based in York.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Town Planning, including in preparing and submitting renewables applications in the UK.
- Previous experience working on Renewable Planning projects
- Working towards MRTPI chartership
- UK driving license to complete site visits around England
- Willing to travel to the company's headquarters in Seville Spain three times a year, all expenses paid for!
