CNC Turner
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a long standing manufacturing company based in Basingstoke. This is a full time, permanent position.
CNC Turner Responsibilities;
- Read, understand and discuss project instructions with the team
- Collaborate with colleagues to guarantee consistency between plans and products
- Modify the machines speed and the tooling and cutting style
- Review and interpret cutting plans
- Program plans into the machine
- Oversee the cutting process to ensure any mistake are identified
- Inspect final product to ensure uniformity
CNC Turner Requirements;
- A Level of equivalent in mechanical engineering or machining
- Previous experience working with CNC turning and milling machine (3+ years)
- Experience machining a range of materials / metals
- Ability to understand the material handling process
- Able to identify and solve problems, particularly with worn part and distortion of parts
- Ability to write Fanuc, Siemens and Hurco programs.
- Knowledge of 4 jaw lathe chucks, is advantageous

Additional Information
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 7:00 or 7:30 - 16:00
- Friday 7:00 or 7:30 - 13:00
- Salary - £30,000-£38,000 dependent on experience
