Mixed Tax Senior/Assistant Manager

Ideally, this role would be mixed between corporate and personal, where you will play a pivotal part and take ownership on a portfolio of clients from two of the Partners, and have the freedom to run with that, with ongoing support and mentorship from the Partners.

Some of the work you can expect to undertake will be:

  • Personal tax compliance including preparing and reviewing tax returns for director/shareholders, landlords, sole traders, partnerships and trusts.
  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and support the Partners with advising on complex tax issues.
  • Managing the P11D process.
  • Preparation and submission of 60-Day CGT
  • Preparation of disclosures.
  • Tax advisory work including remuneration planning, capital allowances, CGT, company reorganisations and gifts of shares, sales of businesses for sole traders and partnerships, IHT.
  • Liaising with HMRC on various matters and assisting with a wide range of internal and client queries.
  • Support the onboarding process, management of WIP for clients, drafting fee proposals for Partners' review.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, c. £35,000 - £48,000+
