Elevation Accountancy & Finance Senior Interim division are excited to be working in exclusive partnership with a well-established professional services business based in Leeds.
The business is going through a signification period of growth and transformation, and are looking for an experienced Interim Management Accountant, ideally with experience of working with high volume data sets and able to hit the ground running!
Key responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant will include:
- Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
- Reconcile complex accounts, including intercompany transactions, and prepare monthly reports to track outstanding items.
- Analyse and manage large volumes of financial data to identify discrepancies, variances, and trends
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing reconciliation processes and implement best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Immediately available to start on short notice
- Ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qual or QBE
- 4-5 years management accounts experience
- Experience working with high volumes of data and performing reconciliations in a regulated environment
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
