My client is a successful and growing membership /industry body and are looking to hire a new Assistant Finance Manager. They are in need of a temp to help fill the gap whilst they recruit for the permanent role. We anticpate this assignment running at least three months but wiht strong possiblity to become permanent.
This is a fully office based role in central London working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
The successful post holder will have had some some accountancy training to trial balance / month end / journal entry level is required. You must also be prepared to do sales and purchase data entry if needed. Good Excel skills including formulae, sheets, vlookup required.
Duties to include
- Basic accounting experience and training
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end management accounts
- Cash flow forecasting
- Sales and purchase ledger
About you
- Working towards formal accountancy qualification
- Advanced Excel skills including V-look up
- Willing to undertake some more junior level tasks including data inputting
- Would suit a recent graduate looking for a first job
- This would suit somebody who is looking for on-the-job training and mentoring
