Title: Finance Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus & wider benefits
Location: Liverpool Street (100% office based)
Our client, a multinational commodities trading business head-quartered in central London with operations across Europe and North America, are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Support the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
- Manage invoices daily from the operation post fixture department
- Process staff expense claims and analyse credit card accounts and journal payments
- Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information
Requirements:
- Must have an accounting qualification or is a finalist - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience and working with financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Energy and drive to get the job done
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills
