As a Projects Engineer, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring that all thermal and heat system projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
The Role
- Manage end-to-end delivery of thermal and heat projects, from initial consultation to commissioning and handover.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management.
- Develop project plans, and manage resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, installation, and technical support.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Oversee commissioning and testing of thermal systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams on heat systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
- Ensure all projects meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
The Person
- Experience as a Project or Contact Engineer
- Proven experience in the thermal or heat technology sector, with a solid understanding of energy systems and heat transfer principles or Gas.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, health, and safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
