Management Accountant
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Job Type: Temporary, Full-time
Availability: Immediate start
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for a temporary position within a manufacturing company based in Maidstone, Kent. The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start and able to commit to an office-based role for the duration of the assignment.
Day to day of the role:
- Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
- Arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
- Advising on financial audits and coordinating with audit teams
- Reviewing and presenting budgets and managing cost-benefit analysis
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Working closely with management to share reports and analysis findings
- Enhancing efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Assisting with systems administration, including finance software and Excel
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred however part qualified candidates would be considered.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
