Proposals Engineer

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate & Innovate: Review and assess sales enquiries, including technical specifications and drawings.
- Technical Mastery: Select and recommend the best equipment from our cutting-edge product range.
- Craft Winning Proposals: Prepare technically and commercially sound quotations that exceed client expectations.
- Engage with Clients: Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth processes.
- Lead the Process: Manage contractual documentation from enquiry through to handover, keeping all relevant teams informed.
- Data-Driven: Update and manage quotation status using Epicor.
- Be the Bridge: Act as a key interface between internal teams and customers, supporting the sales team throughout the bid process.
- Streamline Admin: Handle all commercial and sales documentation efficiently.
- Stay Compliant: Ensure full compliance with company SHEQ policies and procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor is a plus!).
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (motors, pumps, mixers, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
