We are seeking an exceptional Finance Business Partner to join our client's finance team within a leading professional services and consultancy firm based in Watford. This pivotal role will partner with stakeholders across the business, providing strategic financial guidance, analysis, and commercial insights to drive operational excellence and support decision-making.
The Ideal Finance Business Partner:
- Newly/ Part/finalist Qualiffied stage accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong training in professional practice environment is desirable
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools (Excel, PowerBI etc.)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial regulations
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Driven and committed to continuous improvement and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with department heads, project teams, and stakeholders to understand financial objectives
- Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and management information packs
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives
- Continuously review and enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
- Provide training and guidance to non-finance colleagues on financial matters
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, analysis, and strategic initiatives as required
