**Geography Teacher Location: Tower Hamlets Salary: MPS/UPS Start Date: Sep 2024 Contract Type: Long Term, Part Time (0.4 FTE)

Are you passionate about Geography and eager to inspire students in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to Geography.

**Geography Teacher

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
