Prospero Teaching are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in St Helens to start next academic year, September 2024. The role is for 1 term and it is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher/qualified to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - St Helens
- Position - Food Technology Teacher
- Start date - September 2024
- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - £135 per day
- Hours - 8:20 am - 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
- Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)
- Recent Food Technology UK teaching experience preferred
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
