£40,000 per annum (20.51 per hour whilst on a temporary basis)

Full-time 37.5 hrs

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive QSHE Lead to join our client's team in Tyseley, Birmingham. This role plays a crucial part in implementing Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) standards across Consumer & Healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will drive compliance, lead training initiatives, and champion a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site improvement projects and manage escalation notices.
  • Conduct benchmark audits and deliver tailored QSHE training.
  • Perform Fire Risk Assessments and oversee corrective actions.
  • Review and report on accidents, ensuring compliance with QSHE regulations.
  • Manage individual and team-based QSHE projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management, ideally within a regional or logistics setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with course design and delivery is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent certification preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Professional Certification (Level 3) in QSHE-related discipline.
  • NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Working Environment:

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as QSHE BP teams, Vertical Management, and External Partners (e.g., HSE, Local Authorities) to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and promote a safe working environment.
